Because your phone's camera roll is synced with any personal email accounts on your phone, photographs of students can't be taken with your normal camera app. Instead, you can take them using your school device, or install the Schoolcam app on your personal phone.

Schoolcam Instructions

Schoolcam sends its photographs directly to your Carroll Google Drive, so they are never stored in a place outside of the school's system. Pictures taken this way are completely safe as long as you follow the school's student photography guidelines, which you can find here.
