Data Takeout

Transferring your data to a personal account is easy. Go to takeout.google.com/transfer, enter your personal email address, and type in the code it sends you. All of your work drive files and emails will be migrated for you.

This is best in any case where you want to move your entire account to a new address.

With this method, takeout.google.com, you can choose all the specific files you want to transfer, and download them as a zipped folder. You can open and upload the folder later, to another account.

This is best if you only want specific files moved, or if you don't yet have a destination in mind.
